Cello Therapy at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital
Soothing cello tones fill the lobby of Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital courtesy of Samantha Thompson, a 2017 Hood River Valley High School graduate who is now earning her music therapy degree at Pacific University in Forest Grove. Thompson said she has studied cello for about three years, and plays for a few hours each week at the hospital.
