Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:
Jan. 29 — I-84 at milepost 62 — A Hood River resident reported being punched by another motorist, who was subsequently arrested.
Jan. 30 — State Street, 400 block — Officer made contact regarding telephonic harassment.
Feb. 10 — 13th Street — A Hood River juvenile was arrested for assault IV domestic and lodged at the NORCOR juvenile facility.
Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):
Feb. 5 — Second Street overpass — A Spokane, Wash., resident was cited for unlawful possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, driving uninsured, driving without an operator’s license and exceeding the posted speed limit.
Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:
Feb. 3 — Second Street, 100 block — Officer took report of a slashed tire in a restaurant parking lot.
Feb. 10 — Oak Street, 100 block — A Hood River resident was arrested for disorderly conduct II and lodged at NORCOR.
Driving under the influence of intoxicants:
Jan. 29 — Belmont Avenue, 1300 block — An intoxicated male tried to get into his vehicle. Officer sought a no-alcohol clause based on a recent DUII charge resulting in the suspect being lodged at NORCOR.
Feb. 2 — Belmont Avenue, 1300 block — Female arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants, alcohol.
Feb. 2 — Cascade Avenue, 2300 block — A Portland resident was arrested for reckless driving and driving under the influence of intoxicants, alcohol, and lodged at NORCOR.
Feb. 3 — Oak Street at Cascade Avenue — Hood River male arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants, alcohol. He was lodged at NORCOR and his vehicle was towed.
Feb. 9 — 12th Street, 1800 block — A Hood River male was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and lodged at NORCOR. BAC registered over .15 percent.
Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:
Jan. 29 — Seventh Street at Cascade Avenue — Officer dispatched to a motor vehicle crash.
Feb. 2 — Ninth Street at Pine Street — Male issued a criminal citation for driving while suspended, misdemeanor.
Feb. 3 — W. Cascade Avenue, 2200 block — Officer took a hit-and-run report that had occurred in a local parking lot. The suspect was located and cited and released for failure to perform duties of a driver.
Feb. 5 — I-84 at milepost 63 — Officer responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.
Feb. 5 — 12th Street at Taylor Avenue — Officer responded to a motor vehicle, non-injury crash.
Feb. 5 — First Street, 100 block — An improperly secured vehicle rolled into the rear of another vehicle; the brake was not set and the tires were turned slightly away from the curb.
Feb. 8 — Cascade Avenue, 2100 block — Officer responded to a two vehicle crash in a business parking lot.
Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:
Jan. 30 — Ninth Court, 1600 block — A juvenile was arrested for a probation violation.
Feb. 4 — Hope Avenue, 1500 block — Male arrested on outstanding warrant.
Theft, burglary or robbery:
Feb. 3 — 30th Street, 600 block — Officer took report of a stolen vehicle from a garage. The vehicle was located as an impounded vehicle by the Portland Police Bureau.
Feb. 6 — Brookside Drive, 1300 block — Officer contacted a Hood River resident regarding a stolen cellphone.
Feb. 6 — Avalon Court, 1700 block — A Hood River resident reported a U.S. Mail package being stolen from the front porch area.
Feb. 8 — Front Street, 200 block — Male reported a missing bank deposit.
Feb. 11 — 12th Street, 1800 block — Officer took report of the theft from a cash register.
Feb. 11 — Third Street, 1600 block — Female reported her son’s bicycle as stolen sometime between Feb. 1 and Feb. 11.
Feb. 2 — Cascade Avenue at Third Street — A Dallesport resident was issued a citation for violating City Ordinance 9.20.010, public indecency, urinating in public.
Feb. 3 — Oak Street, 400 block — A stroller with weather shield was found on the sidewalk in front of a downtown business.
Feb. 6 — 22nd Street, 900 block — A juvenile male was reported as a runaway.
Feb. 7 — Root Road, Mosier — Officer responded with the Hood River medics for a subject with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Feb. 8 — 12th Street, 1300 block — Officer contacted regarding a found wallet.

I Can't Keep Quiet singers at "Citizen Town Hall"
‘I can’t keep quiet,’ sing members of an impromptu choir in front of Hood River Middle School Saturday prior to the citizen town hall for questions to Rep. Greg Walden. The song addresses female empowerment generally and sexual violence implicitly, and gained prominence during the International Women’s Day events in January. The singers braved a sudden squall to finish their song and about 220 people gathered in HRMS auditorium, which will be the scene of the April 12 town hall with Rep. Greg Walden, at 3 p.m. Enlarge
