‘Children First’ worship service planned Sunday

Pine Grove-Odell United Methodist Church hosts a special “Children First!” service Dec. 24 at 10 a.m. at the Pine Grove-Odell United Methodist Church in Odell.

“We are inviting all children to come and join us for a special worship service, just for you,” said Pastor Christy Matson.

“We will sing songs, pray and talk about how we are thankful for all God has done for us.”

I Can't Keep Quiet singers at "Citizen Town Hall"

‘I can’t keep quiet,’ sing members of an impromptu choir in front of Hood River Middle School Saturday prior to the citizen town hall for questions to Rep. Greg Walden. The song addresses female empowerment generally and sexual violence implicitly, and gained prominence during the International Women’s Day events in January.
