Barley Draught at The Pines
This week at The Pines:
Friday, Dec. 18, 6-9 p.m. — “Kelly Bosworth is a folk Americana singer/songwriter and a fifth-generation Oregonian. With a warm and inviting voice, Kelly sings haunting original melodies and folk-blues classics of love, longing, and loss. Bosworth just released her self-titled debut album.”
Saturday, Dec. 19, 7-9 p.m. — Barley Draught brings traditional Irish songs, ballads and instrumentals with plenty of tunes for singing along. The band has been a local icon for 20-plus years in the Gorge with whistles, bodhran, guitar, banjo, fiddle, bagpipes and great harmony vocals.
As a traditional pub-style band, the energy stays high and the ballads are soulful. Come hear a bit of Ireland, right here in the Gorge. The Pines Tasting Room, 202 Cascade Ave., Hood River; 541-993-8301.
