Dennis Richard Holman, of Spokane, Wash., passed away Oct. 20, 2012, in Spokane.
He was born April 16, 1939, in Sacramento, Calif., to Richard and Yvonne Holman. He grew up in Pasadena, Calif., and attended Pasadena High School, graduating in 1958.
Dennis attended college at the University of Arizona and received a Bachelor of Science in economics with a minor in geology in 1962.

He was very active in volunteering with the Special Olympics, Hoopfest, the Lilac Parade and Bloomsday.
