Really people, it's not like gay people are going to have sex in front of you!!! Since when did religion and sexual orientation enter the business of baking cakes???
I believe in God, and I've been a Christian for more years than not, and I'm in my late 50s. I love the Lord with all my heart, but I am also the mother of a gay son, who has been with his partner almost 10 yrs, and unfortunately, due to the laws in California, they are unable to get married at this time. What this woman is missing is compassion for her fellow human beings. Most gays will tell you if they had a choice (which they DON'T) they would choose to be straight, just because of the roadblocks, judgment, and hatred they face on a daily basis. Most gays are highly intelligent people, are warm and engaging, have upstanding values, and give generously to charity. They aren't child molesters preying on our children, in fact they are quite the opposite of that. They don't sit and judge people, and many that I know, have a relationship with the Lord. I believe the Bible says, "judge not, lest ye be judged." This very well could be reason Pam's cake business could face trouble. If you can afford to sit in judgment of these two lovely ladies, then go ahead. Jesus would have baked the cake and invited them into his home to serve them, never once judging them.
